My work invites you to slow down, pause, and to discover beauty hidden in places we usually pass without noticing.
Through close-up and macro photography, I create abstract nature photography in which ordinary surfaces of ice, slate and wood transform into unexpected landscapes that continue to reveal new details the longer you look.
Every image begins in nature. Every experience ends somewhere different. Sometimes with wonder. Sometimes with reflection.
Several works are accompanied by a short poem to create space for your own thoughts.
Welcome to Abstracts from Nature. I hope these works invite you to look differently. Not only at nature, but perhaps also at yourself.
